Spatial design is a module for us to learn how to design and develop spaces through 3D models. My lecturer is Mr Paul Nickson, through his guidance, I've learnt what is the basics for spatial design which I will be using for my future architecture life. First of all, we learnt what is design elements, we learnt how to transform 2D to 3D. After that, we start to go through design principles which are the principles we have to consider while developing an idea. For example, balance, unity and harmony. Each principle can also lead to another principle like repetitions can bring out rhythms and patterns. At the end of the module, I am delited to be able to develop a space for a client, and through these experiences, I'm learning everytime from the mistakes I have made and understands better about spatial design after each amendments and feedbacks I got from Mr. Paul.
